    In the Maritime Accelerator programme leading maritime industry companies strengthen their competitiveness by finding partners among growth companies that bring new innovations to the industry.

    Leading international maritime industry companies Royal Caribbean, Wärtsilä and Meyer Turku chose their favourites among new partners at the completion of Finland’s first maritime industry business accelerator programme.

    Maritime Accelerator culminates at a Slush side event


    Maritime Accelerator, a business accelerator for maritime industry implemented in co-operation by Turku Science Park Ltd and Avanto Ventures, will culminate at its third boot camp get-together and the final pitching at the beginning of December.

    10 startups and corporate partners are all set for the first Bootcamp of Maritime Accelerator. The goal for the two day trial is to evaluate potential partnerships and joint opportunities and find out which of the chosen startups will continue collaboration with their partner corporation.

    From the total 500 startups screened by Avanto Ventures, the partner corporations have now interviewed the best 40 and and invited the 10 most interesting growth companies to the 1st boot camp to validate potential for partnerships.

    NAPA Group is a world leading software house providing solutions for ship design and operation with the mission to improve safety and eco-efficiency of the global maritime industry. Headquartered in Finland, NAPA employs 170 people in the fields of naval architecture, shipping and information technology.
